How to Install rdiff-backup software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

rdiff-backup software package provides remote incremental backup, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install rdiff-backup

rdiff-backup is installed in your system.

Make ensure the rdiff-backup package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep rdiff-backup *

You will get with rdiff-backup package name, version, architecture and description in a table
